CRL Extruded Aluminum Cap Rails are extruded from alloy 6063-T6 for strength and consistent profile. The alloy accepts custom finishes including anodizing and powder coating, making these cap rails ideal for glass balustrades, shower enclosures, storefronts, and architectural glazing projects. Use CRL Metal Contact Cement (Cat. No. 32629) to achieve a secure, permanent bond at all connections, and Connector Sleeves to join cap rails cleanly on-site.

This cap rail dimension is used to calculate glass size. Add the clearance you require, or allow an additional 1/8" (3.2 mm) if using Cap Rail Vinyl.
