The CRL L21S Series Laminated Square Base Shoe (SKU: L21S10) is engineered as the base channel for laminated glass railing systems and is designed to simplify secure attachment to the substrate. CRL provides multiple attachment patterns and compatible fasteners, plus a printed brochure with installation instructions, tips, cleaning, and refinishing guidance.
GLASS SPECIFICATION:
For use with 27/32" (21.52 mm) laminated tempered glass (10 x 1.52 x 10 mm)
Thickness range: .803" to .903" (20.4 to 22.9 mm). Will work with ASTM 7/8" monolithic tempered glass. Will not accommodate the full ASTM thickness range for 27/32" glass.
Product Warning:
CRL does not recommend direct powder coating of this base shoe extrusion. Apply powder-coated cladding over the base shoe instead.
