Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR10S0RB12CL), uses the exclusive Wedge-Lock® securing technology (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 & 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) to clamp monolithic tempered glass securely in frameless and semi-frameless glass doors. The system applies downward pressure via two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is drawn down with socket head cap bolts, the angled extrusions engage the rail’s wedge groove to generate significant holding force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail), providing a durable, high-strength glass attachment for commercial glass door installations.

The Wedge-Lock® design delivers faster installation times than typical door rails—experienced installers can prepare a door for hanging in under ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated with End Caps installed. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the preassembled Adjustable Door Alignment Slide. The adjustable slide allows ±1/8" (3 mm) door adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door; this feature is standard on both top and bottom rails.

To access the adjustment, remove the End Cap to reveal three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt locks the slide, and the two outer bolts provide the ±1/8" adjustment. The low-profile slide lets pivots with slotted grooves be positioned off the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
