Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR10S0RB12C) features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for frameless and storefront glass doors, this door rail secures tempered glass by applying downward wedge pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the stainless bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, the angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail, creating high clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" Corner Rail) for durable, vandal-resistant glass retention.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers faster installations and reliable long-term performance for commercial glass doors. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship completely fabricated and ready to install with End Caps installed. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide assembled in the rail. The built-in Adjustable Door Alignment System lets you fine-tune door position 1/8" (3 mm) toward or away from the jamb without removing the door; this feature is standard on both top and bottom rails.

To adjust after installation, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the adjustable slide, while the two outer bolts allow 1/8" (3 mm) adjustment in or out. The low-profile slide lets pivots with slotted grooves be positioned independently of the American Standard Setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
