Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR10S0RB34C) features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 & 6,912,818 B2, Canadian Patent 2,419,706, European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for tempered glass doors, this door rail system secures glass by applying downward wedge pressure via two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. The angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail, pulling the extrusions together and compressing the door retaining gasket to generate extremely high holding force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" / 228.6 mm corner rail).

The Wedge-Lock® system provides secure glass retention and the fastest installation time among door rails for glass doors. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with End Caps installed. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the preassembled adjustable door alignment slide.

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System allows ±1/8" (3 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb on both top and bottom rails without removing the door. To access adjustments after installation, remove the End Cap to reveal three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3 mm) in or out. The low-profile slide accommodates pivots with slotted grooves and can be fabricated for vertically out-of-square openings.
