Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4T0RB12C) features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2, Canadian Patent 2,419,706, and European Patent No. EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for 1/2" (12 mm) monolithic tempered glass, the system secures glass by applying downward wedge pressure through two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. The angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail, producing very high clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail), delivering superior glass retention and durability for commercial storefronts and architectural glass doors.

The Wedge-Lock® system provides fast, repeatable installations—experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated with End Caps installed; after rail installation attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the preassembled adjustable door alignment slide. The Adjustable Door Alignment System lets you move the door 1/8" (3.2 mm) toward or away from the jamb without removing the door—standard on both top and bottom rails.

To adjust after installation, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide, the two outer bolts provide the ±1/8" adjustment. The low-profile adjustable slide accommodates pivots positioned other than the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
