CRL Cardiff Series Pivot Hinges (SKU: CAR05R0RB) are engineered for 5/16" (8 mm) to 3/8" (10 mm) tempered safety glass and expand application options for residential and hotel shower enclosures. These brass pivot hinges carry most of the door weight on the bottom and can be inset from the wall to provide clearance for towel bars and other projections — a practical solution for frameless shower doors and custom glass shower installations. Cardiff hinges are self-centering with four springs for maximum retention strength and full rotation hinge swing. They are adaptable to CRL’s Deluxe Header System for partial-height enclosures.

Optional 5° Pre-Set Pivot Pin Set: Available separately to alter the closing position by 5°. Pivot pins can be installed before or retrofitted after hinge installation. Sold as a set of two (top and bottom); not included with hinge purchase.

Using two hinges: With 5/16" or 3/8" glass (8 or 10 mm), two hinges support up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with a maximum door width of 31" (787 mm).
