CRL's more powerful
18V Glass Saw
has an upgraded 18V lithium-ion battery for longer run times and faster cutting speeds resulting in increased productivity. At 4000 RPM, this new and improved saw will plunge, straight, and angle cut glass up to 3/4" (19 mm) thick quickly and chip-free. With this saw's polycarbonate base plate, the risk of glass and mirror scratches are greatly reduced. This versatile kit contains both a medium grit diamond blade for cutting glass and mirror, and a wood blade for those "board-up" jobs. Also included in the kit is a pressurized quick-connect coolant system, one quart of Diamond Tool Coolant, an 18V lithium-ion battery, and a 18V one hour Quick-Charger. This saw is a definite "must-have" for any glass shop and installation truck.
The medium 100 grit Diamond Blade (Cat. No. DBM) offers faster cutting speeds where edge quality is not as critical. Ordered separately, CRL offers an optional fine 220 grit Diamond Blade (Cat No. DBF). Although the fine blade will cut at a slower speed, it produces an extremely smooth edge.
