CRL Floating Headers With Fin Brackets were developed as a means of adding rigidity to 'all-glass' entrances. Fin Supports will reduce the amount of deflection caused by wind or stack load pressure, and impacts. Available for both installations of single or double doors. Custom Floating Headers can cover many configurations, including Headers in custom lengths, glass-to-wall configurations, and Headers prepped for surface mounted magnetic locks, magnetic shear locks, a surface mounted top pivot, a walking beam pivot or an overhead concealed door closer. If the weight of the transom above the header exceeds 100 pounds (45.4 kg) the transom will need to be supported from the ceiling to take weight off of the header and prevent bowing. The customer can use either Cat. No. B5BC Smoke Baffle Channel or PH94 Patch Fittings.
