CRL Palmer Mirro-Mastic 5 Gal Mirror Adhesive

Palmer Mirro-Mastic® (SKU: PM205) is a long-lasting mirror adhesive mastic formulated for adhering plate glass and acrylic mirror to drywall, wood, glass, metal, or tile. Ideal for large mirrored walls, columns and vanities, Mirro-Mastic® provides a permanent bond without becoming hard or brittle over time. Unopened cans have a two-year shelf life. May be used with CRL Category Two Safety Tape Film when the film has been washed with 70% isopropyl alcohol (IPA). All installations require permanent bottom support and mechanical fasteners. Mirro-Mastic® also qualifies for LEED® Green Building Rating System™ credit.

NOTE: Use Mirro-Mastic® Bond to seal porous substrates before applying mastic.

COVERAGE: With minimum coverage, one gallon installs approximately 130 sq. ft. (12 sq. meters) of mirror — about 130–135 golf-ball-size pats per gallon.

Product Warning:

Test before use. Always follow the manufacturer's directions on the can. Do not apply Mirro-Mastic® to painted surfaces, wall coverings, or treated wood. Palmer Mirro-Mastic® Bond must be used to seal porous substrates. Support mirror at the bottom; mechanical fasteners must be used for all mirror applications, such as CRL Mirror Clips or CRL Mirror Mounting Tape. Apply both double-sided mirror mounting tape and mastic at room temperature following directions on each package. If directions do not cover your conditions, consult CRL Customer Service. It is the user's responsibility to determine mastic suitability for a particular application. CRL cannot guarantee materials against mirror spoilage. CEILING APPLICATION (Maximum mirror size — 16 sq. ft.)
Ceiling mirrors MUST be applied with four applicator scoops of mastic per square foot in conjunction with permanently installed mechanical fasteners and applied to moisture-resistant drywall. Do not use wood products. Use the Palmer Electric Applicator for proper application. Ensure ceilings are not exposed to potential water runoff from bathrooms or kitchens. MUST consult Palmer Products prior to any ceiling installation.
