CRL Palmer Mirro-Mastic Mirror Adhesive for Glass - 1 Gallon

Palmer Mirro-Mastic® (SKU: PM201GL) is an adhesive mastic formulated for adhering plate glass and acrylic mirrors to drywall, wood, glass, metal, or tile. Ideal for large mirrored walls, columns, and vanities, Mirro-Mastic® provides a durable mirror mounting adhesive that resists aging and maintains a permanent bond. Unopened cans have a two-year shelf life. Mirro-Mastic® may be used with CRL Category Two Safety Tape Film washed with a 70% isopropyl alcohol solution (IPA). All mirror installations require permanent bottom support and mechanical fasteners. Mirro-Mastic® also qualifies for LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System™ credit.

NOTE: Use Mirro-Mastic® Bond to seal porous substrates. Coverage: with minimum coverage, one gallon installs approximately 130 sq ft (12 sq m) of mirror — roughly 130–135 golf-ball-size pats per gallon.

Product Warning:

Test before using any mastic and always follow the manufacturer's directions on the can. Do not apply Mirro-Mastic® to painted surfaces, wall coverings, or treated wood. Seal porous substrates with Palmer Mirro-Mastic® Bond. Support mirror at the bottom and use mechanical fasteners for all mirror applications (for example, CRL Mirror Clips or CRL Mirror Mounting Tape). Apply double-sided mirror mounting tape and mastic at room temperature per each product’s directions. If directions do not cover your conditions, consult CRL Customer Service. CEILING APPLICATION (maximum mirror size 16 sq ft): ceiling mirrors must be applied with four applicator scoops of mastic per sq ft in conjunction with permanently installed mechanical fasteners and applied to moisture-resistant drywall. Do not use wood substrates. The Palmer Electric Applicator MUST be used for proper application. Avoid ceilings under bathrooms or kitchens where water could run over and damage the installation. Consult Palmer Products prior to any ceiling application.
