The CRL Plumb Perfect Level® is a heavy-duty expanding level designed for contractors, glaziers, and installers who need reliable out-of-plumb measurements. The PPL42 expands from 24" to 42" (610 mm to 1.07 m); the larger Cat. No. PPL98 expands from 56" to 98" (1.42 to 2.49 m). Both models include precision spirit vials for vertical and horizontal leveling plus proprietary "out" gap scales—dial out the gap and center the vertical vial to get an exact read on wall or substrate plumb. The sliding length adjustment locks with four knurled screws that tighten onto a friction layer in the core for secure, repeatable positioning. PPL levels are sold each.
