Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, provides a high-strength, fast-installation glass door rail for commercial storefronts and architectural glass doors. The exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) secures monolithic tempered glass by applying downward wedge pressure from two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions via a flat stainless steel bar and socket head cap bolts. The angled wedge action, combined with a purpose-designed door retaining gasket, creates exceptional holding force (measured at over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail), delivering durable, vibration-resistant attachment across full-length door rails.

The Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System is designed for rapid field installation—experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the pre-assembled adjustable door alignment slide. The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System (top and bottom rails) provides 1/8" (3 mm) in/out adjustment without removing the door, enabling quick in-field alignment for out-of-square openings.

To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the adjustable slide; the two outer bolts provide the 1/8" (3 mm) in/out adjustment. The low-profile slide allows pivots with slotted grooves to be positioned off the American Standard setback (2-3/4", 69.8 mm) when required.
