Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR10SPB34CL) features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). The patented wedge action secures monolithic tempered glass by applying downward pressure via two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. As the wedge pulls the extrusions together against an angled groove in the rail, the gasket and wedge combine to generate exceptional clamping force—more than 900 lbs. in the 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail—delivering industry-leading glass retention for commercial glass doors and storefronts.

The Adjustable Door Alignment System (standard on both top and bottom rails) allows ±1/8" (3 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. Remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide, the outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3 mm) in or out. The low-profile slide permits pivot placement other than the American Standard 2-3/4" (69.8 mm) setback, enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
