Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TPB38CL), features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for frameless and glass storefront doors, this patented wedge mechanism applies downward pressure via two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar to clamp tempered glass securely—creating high clamping force in short rails and even greater force in full-length rails.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers fast installation for installers of commercial glass doors and storefront glass entrances. Rails ship fully fabricated with end caps installed and include an adjustable door alignment slide so the door can be aligned +/-1/8" (3.2 mm) without removal. After installation, access three socket head cap bolts behind the end cap to lock or fine-adjust the slide. The low-profile slide and slotted pivot grooves allow non-standard setback fabrication for out-of-square openings.
