An innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR6SPB38CL) uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 & 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) to secure glass with a bottom-applied wedge action. Two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions are pulled down by a stainless steel bar and socket head cap bolts into an angled groove, creating exceptional clamping force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" Corner Rail). This wedge-action design plus a specialized door retaining gasket delivers reliable long-term retention in full-length door rails.

The Wedge-Lock® system also provides fast, installer-friendly assembly. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. Rails arrive completely fabricated and ready-to-install with End Caps installed. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail. The Adjustable Door Alignment System allows 1/8" (3.2 mm) in-out adjustment at both top and bottom without removing the door—useful for vertical out-of-square openings.

Adjustments are made by removing the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide, and the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out. The low-profile adjustable slide permits pivot placement other than the American Standard Setback of 2-3/4" (69.8 mm).
