An innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU DR6SPB58CL) uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 & 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) to secure the glass from the bottom of the rail. Two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions clamp a flat stainless steel bar; as the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts the angled extrusions seat into the rail’s wedge groove, compressing the gasket and producing extremely high holding force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail). This design delivers a reliable, durable glass door rail system for commercial storefronts, offices, and high-traffic entrances.

The Wedge-Lock® system also reduces installation time. Rails arrive fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed; installers can prepare a door in minutes. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail. The adjustable alignment slide provides +/-1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb on both top and bottom rails without removing the door — ideal for vertically out-of-square openings.

Access the three socket head cap bolts by removing the end cap: the center bolt locks the slide; the two outer bolts move the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out. The low-profile slide permits pivot placement other than the American Standard setback (2-3/4", 69.8 mm).

NOTE: All Wedge-Lock® Door Rails include a built-in jamb alignment block. Arms, pivots, closer arms and floor or overhead pivots must be ordered separately to meet job requirements. Matching keyed cylinders or thumbturns must be ordered separately for models supplied with locks.
