This CRL U-Channel with Roll-In Top Load Gasket (SKU: UCPB3812CL) is engineered for 3/8" or 1/2" (10 or 12 mm) glass and pairs with CRL Patch Hardware, our Header for Overhead Door Closers with Fixed Sidelites, or the Door Rail System. The extrusion accepts surface or recess mounting and secures glass using roll-in top load gasketing—an ideal U-channel solution for frameless glass sidelite and door installations. Available in five finishes and supported by a full family of installation accessories.
The included 4" (102 mm) Aluminum Setting Blocks with Neoprene rest in the top of the bottom channel to provide rigid glass support. These setting blocks position the glass for 9/16" (14.3 mm) glass coverage in both top and bottom channels when glazed using the "lift and drop" method.
Roll-In Top Load Gasketing for 3/8" or 1/2" (10 or 12 mm) glass is sold separately in 100' or 500' rolls. Matching finish end caps are available to complete the installation.
