Overview
- Matches width of door and sidelite rails; accepts roll-in gasket, top pivot block and flush snap-in insert for secure glass door installation
- Available in stock lengths, fabricated headers, or headers with side pockets for "lift and drop" panel glazing—ideal for commercial storefronts and glass partition systems
- Special sidelite rail adapter enables a continuous sight line when used with the narrow header for seamless glass-to-frame alignment
This CRL Wide U-Channel and Narrow Header (SKU: NH3PBCL) was developed for three primary applications: as a U-channel matching our Sidelite and Door Rails; as a narrow header that accepts a top free‑swinging pivot to secure the top of doors; and as part of an Even Sight Line System, where the fabricated narrow header is secured to the opening and the sidelite rail is attached using the 1/4" (6.4 mm) header saddle to create a continuous sightline. All drilling, tapping and fabrication are completed at the factory to save installation time and eliminate the need for field fabrication.
