Overview
- Matches width of door and sidelite rails; accepts roll-in gasket, top pivot block and flush snap-in insert
- Offered in stock lengths, fabricated headers, or headers with side pockets for "lift and drop" panel glazing
- Special sidelite rail adapter enables a continuous sight line when used with the narrow header
This CRL Wide U-Channel and Narrow Header (SKU: NH2PBCL) is engineered for three primary applications: as a U-channel matching our Sidelite and Door Rails; as a narrow header that accepts a top free-swinging pivot to secure door tops; and as an Even Sight Line System—attach the fabricated narrow header to the opening, then secure the sidelite rail to the narrow header with the 1/4" (6.4 mm) header saddle to create a continuous sight line. All drilling, tapping and fabrication are completed at the factory to save installation time and eliminate field fabrication. For technical assistance, contact CRL Technical Sales Department.
