CRL Cardiff Series Pivot Hinges are engineered for 5/16" (8 mm) to 3/8" (10 mm) tempered safety glass and expand application options for frameless and semi-frameless shower doors. These Cardiff pivot hinges carry the majority of door weight on the bottom and can be inset from the wall to provide clearance for towel bars and other projections—making them an ideal choice for left-hand offset bracket wall mount shower doors and other custom glass shower installations. The hinges are self-centering with four springs for maximum retention strength. Optional 5º pre-set pivot pin sets are available separately. The Cardiff Series is also adaptable to the Deluxe Header System for enclosures that do not extend to the ceiling. SKU: CAR05LCH.

NOTE: Optional 5º Pivot Pin Set (for Cardiff, Prima, Rondo, and Shell Series) can alter the door closing position by 5º. Pivot pins may be installed prior to or retrofitted after installation. Sold as a set of two (top and bottom). Not included with hinge purchase.

Using two hinges with 5/16" or 3/8" glass (8 or 10 mm), the hinge will hold up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with a maximum door width of 31" (787 mm).
