CRL Geneva Pony Wall Mount Series hinges provide a purpose-built pony wall mount solution for frameless shower doors where a wall-to-glass hinge is needed on a shorter (pony) wall and a glass-to-glass hinge is used above. The GEN280 model is engineered specifically for 180º applications and eliminates the need to cut tile or marble to recess a back plate—saving installation time and preserving finished surfaces. Each hinge is modified with a shortened center block (one centering spring) and a compact back plate (two mounting holes) while retaining the reversible 5º pivot pin from the standard Geneva hinge.

Key differentiator: mounts to the surface of tile or marble so no recessing is required to vertically align pivot points—ideal for retrofits and finished tile installations.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For 135º installations the pony wall face must be at a 45º angle to the wall and 90º to the door plane.

Load capacity:

• Using two hinges with 5/16"–1/2" (8–12 mm) tempered glass: holds up to 80 lbs (36 kg); max door width 28" (711 mm)
• Using three hinges with 5/16"–1/2" (8–12 mm) tempered glass: holds up to 120 lbs (54 kg); max door width 32" (813 mm)
