CRL Cardiff Series Pivot Hinges (SKU: CAR05RPN) are engineered for 5/16" (8 mm) to 3/8" (10 mm) tempered safety glass and expand application possibilities for shower doors and enclosures. These pivot-style shower door hinges carry most weight on the bottom, allow inset mounting from the wall for towel-bar clearance, and showcase more glass with a top-and-bottom mount design. Cardiff hinges are self-centering with four springs for maximum retention strength and offer full rotation swing. Optional 5º pre-set pivot pin sets (sold separately) let you alter the closing position by 5º and can be installed before or retrofitted after installation. The series is compatible with CRL’s Deluxe Header System for partial-height enclosures.

NOTE: Optional 5º Pivot Pin Set (for Cardiff, Prima, Rondo, and Shell Series) — sold as a set of two (top and bottom). Not included with hinge purchase.

Using two hinges: With 5/16" or 3/8" glass (8 or 10 mm), two hinges support up to 100 lbs (45 kg) with a maximum door width of 31" (787 mm).
