Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, delivers a secure, high-strength attachment for glass doors and fast installation for commercial storefronts and architectural glass entrances. The Wedge-Lock® Securing System clamps glass from the bottom using two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled wedges pull the extrusions together, producing exceptional holding force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail) across the full 35-3/4" (908 mm) rail.

The Wedge-Lock® system reduces install time—experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes—and ships fully fabricated with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail. The adjustable slide provides ±1/8" (3 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb on both top and bottom rails without removing the door, enabling field alignment for vertically out-of-square openings.

Access three socket head cap bolts by removing the end cap: the center bolt locks the slide, and the two outer bolts adjust the slide in or out. The low-profile slide supports pivots with slotted grooves and non-standard setback positions.

Additional benefits: models accept 3/8" to 3/4" (10 to 19 mm) glass; a rigid single-component housing that resists shifting over time; internal components remain installed during rail mounting; and durable glass-securing pads designed for extreme environments. All rails include a built-in jamb alignment block; arms and pivots are ordered separately to meet job requirements.
