An innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR6SPS12CL) uses the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) to secure glass from the bottom of the rail. Two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar create a wedging action that compresses the glass retaining extrusions into an angled groove, producing exceptional holding force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail). This design delivers a rigid, single-component housing that resists shifting over time — a key differentiator for commercial glass door rail systems.

The Wedge-Lock® system also minimizes installation time. Experienced installers can prepare a door for hanging in under ten minutes. Units ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail installation, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

Ordering information

• All door rails supplied with standard Kwik-Adjust™ Pivot Alignment System. Closer arms and floor or overhead pivots sold separately.
• Models with locks supplied with the lock mechanism installed. Matching finish keyed cylinders or thumbturns must be ordered separately.
• End caps included in stock door rails. Specify total door rail length (including end caps) for custom-length rails.
