CRL's Premium Cap Rails (SKU: GR25PS14) are manufactured using a precision Bump-Forming process for consistent radius, tighter tolerances, and reduced stress compared to roll-formed cap rails. Welds on both sides of the internal channel add strength and stability, eliminating twist or discoloration at welded corners. This bump-formed stainless steel cap rail provides reliable fit and finish for glass railing applications and architectural projects.

All CRL Premium Cap Rails are formed with precision tooling for uniform diameters and smooth hairline transitions at splices, corners, and end caps. The welded internal channel increases rigidity for fabrication. Use Cat. No. 32629 Metal Contact Cement to achieve a secure, permanent bond at all connections, and use connector sleeves to join cap rails. Sold in 120" (3.05 m) lengths; 168" (4.27 m) also available.

Glass installation notes: For 1/2" (12 mm) glass use Cat. No. GR5PV cap rail vinyl and 95CBL Silicone. For 5/8" (16 mm) glass use 95CBL Silicone and shims. For 3/4" (19 mm) glass use 95CBL Silicone and appropriate shims. Contact CRL Technical Sales for application guidance or a quote.

Use the Connector Sleeves and Sleeve No. GR25CSS for secure connections. Stainless alloy 304 is standard; alloy 316 available on special order. For sealant, bonding, and installation best practices, the specified Cat. No. 32629 Metal Contact Cement is required.
