Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). The system secures glass by applying downward pressure via two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. The angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail, creating extremely high holding force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail).

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers secure clamping plus the fastest installation time among door rail systems. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail installation, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the preassembled adjustable door alignment slide.

The standard adjustable door alignment system allows ±1/8" (3 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door, on both top and bottom rails. Remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts provide the ±1/8" adjustment. The low-profile slide and slotted pivot grooves enable non-standard setback positions and fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
