An innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR6SPS38CL) uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) to secure the glass from the bottom of the rail. Two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions are compressed by a flat stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. Angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail to create exceptional holding force — more than 900 lbs. in the 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail — and proportionally greater force in full-length door rails.

Installation and adjustment: after rail installation attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the preassembled adjustable door alignment slide. To fine-tune the door, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts — center bolt secures the slide; outer bolts adjust ±1/8" (3.2 mm). Low-profile slide and slotted pivot grooves allow fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.

NOTE: All Wedge-Lock® Door Rails include a built-in jamb alignment block. Arms, pivots, closer arms and floor or overhead pivots must be ordered separately to meet job requirements. Models are available to accept 3/8" or 1/2" (10 or 12 mm) glass. Matching finish keyed cylinders or thumbturns are ordered separately for rails with locks.
