Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, uses the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 & 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Unlike split-housing rails, this rigid single-component rail applies pressure from the bottom via two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar, producing exceptional clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail and proportionally greater across the full 35-3/4" rail). This design yields superior glass retention, long-term stability, and durability for commercial glass doors.

Installation details: Rails ship completely fabricated and ready-to-install with End Caps installed. After rail installation, attach pivot or door arm (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail. To fine-tune alignment after hanging, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts (center bolt secures slide; outer bolts adjust +/-1/8" (3.2 mm)). The low-profile slide allows pivot placement off the American Standard setback when required for out-of-square openings.
