Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU DR10SPS58SL), features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for glass door installations, the system secures the glass using two aluminum retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. The angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail, producing very high clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail) for durable, long-lasting glass retention—ideal for heavy-duty commercial glass doors and storefront applications.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers faster installation times than typical door rails—experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship fully fabricated with end caps installed; install the rail, attach a separately ordered door arm or pivot to the adjustable alignment slide, and hang the door. The Adjustable Door Alignment System (standard on top and bottom rails) allows in-place adjustment of ±1/8" (3 mm) toward or away from the jamb without removing the door.

To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the outer bolts adjust the slide ±1/8" (3 mm). The low-profile slide accommodates pivots set off the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
