Our CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR10SPS58CL) is an innovative glass entrance system built around the patented Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for tempered glass doors, the system uses two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar that, when tensioned with socket head cap bolts, wedges the extrusions together in an angled groove. Combined with the door retaining gasket, this creates exceptional clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail), delivering secure, durable glass retention for commercial glass door applications.

The Wedge-Lock® system is engineered for fast installation—experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. Rails come fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the pre-assembled adjustable door alignment slide. The adjustable slide provides ±1/8" (3 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door; this feature is standard on both top and bottom rails and supports out-of-square openings.

To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide, and the two outer bolts provide the ±1/8" adjustment. The low-profile adjustable slide allows pivots with slotted grooves to be positioned other than the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm).
