Our CRL Z-Series Round Type Radius Base Glass Clamps (SKU Z312PS) are engineered for glass thicknesses from 1/4" to 1/2" (6 to 12 mm) and are offered in zinc or stainless steel. These radius base glass clamps provide a secure, low-profile hold for partitions, railings, mezzanines and exterior windbreaks—ideal when specifying durable, architectural glass clamp hardware and long-span railing systems.

For securing the Z-Clamp to thin wall tubing (less than 1/8”), use CRL’s ZB0LT Socket Head Cap Bolt and ZRNUT Rivet-Nut. For installation, drill a 17/32” (13.5 mm) hole, then install the rivet-nut using the 34604 Heavy-Duty Thread Insert tool with the 34618 5/16” mandrel and nosepiece.

NOTE: A 1/2" (12 mm) hole is required if using the included steel pin for additional glass support. Replacement gaskets: CRL Cat. No. Z12RG. Replacement screws: CRL Cat. No. ZCS5X15SS.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Glass Thicknesses: For 1/4" (6 mm), 5/16" (8 mm), 3/8" (10 mm) and 1/2" (12 mm) glass. (1/2" (12 mm) diameter hole required if using the provided steel pin; 9/16" (14 mm) diameter hole required for 1/2" (12 mm) glass when pinning.)

For Use With: 1-1/2" or 2" (38 or 50.8 mm) diameter round tubing
Material: Zinc construction or stainless steel. For exterior applications, use stainless steel or powder-painted zinc for improved durability.
Glass Fabrication:
For 1/4" (6 mm), 5/16" (8 mm), and 3/8" (10 mm) thick glass; 1/2" (12 mm) diameter hole required if using provided steel pin for glass support.
For 1/2" (12 mm) thick glass: 9/16" (14 mm) diameter hole required if using provided steel pin for glass support.
INCLUDES: Rubber gaskets and steel pin (optional use) with grommet.
