Threaded Rivet-Nuts and Rivet Inserts provide a cost-effective method of placing permanent threads in thin materials. Installed from one side, these fasteners are perfect for use in metal, fiberglass, and rigid plastic. The special 39300 CRL Rivet-Nut Setter™ Installation Tool installs vibration-proof, compression fit threaded inserts with a nearly flush head, ready to accept machine bolts and screws in thread sizes from #6-32 to 3/8"-16.
Each Kit contains one 39300 Rivet-Nut Setter™ Tool with mandrels and nosepieces for 6-32, 8-32, 10-24, and 1/4"-20 thread sizes. Also included are 103 assorted Flat Head Rivet-Nuts, Klik® Poly-Nuts, instructions, a Nosepiece Wrench, and a plastic Carrying Case. Tool, Mandrels, Nosepieces, and Fasteners are also available separately.
