This hardened steel CRL Sash Balance Hand Rivet Tool features a flared, conical-shaped head specifically designed to properly flare Part No. FS261 sash balance guide rivets, as well as various other rivet sizes for different balance types. It is utilized when replacing rivets or attaching the top and bottom guides of window channel balances. The jaws of the rivet tool position a built-in die on each side of the material being joined and compress a solid or tubular rivet between the dies to secure it. Also known as rivet squeezers, these tools require access to both sides of the material.
