Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR10SSA12CL), features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2, Canadian Patent 2,419,706, and European Patent No. EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for commercial glass doors and storefronts, the patented Wedge-Lock® system secures glass by applying downward pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, the angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the door rail, producing very high clamping force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" / 228.6 mm corner rail), delivering exceptional glass retention and durability.

The Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System provides more than a secure attachment — it offers industry-leading installation speed for door rail systems. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with End Caps installed. After mounting the rail, simply attach a door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide pre-assembled in the rail.

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System (top and bottom rails) allows +/-1/8" (3 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. To adjust after installation, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt locks the adjustable slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3 mm) in or out. The low-profile slide lets pivots with slotted grooves be positioned other than the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), allowing fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
