An innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System uses the exclusive U.S., Canadian and European patented Wedge-Lock® Securing System to clamp the glass from the bottom using two aluminum retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened, angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail and draw together, producing high clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" / 228.6 mm corner rail). This design secures monolithic tempered glass firmly and reliably for commercial storefronts and interior glass doors.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers faster installation and easier field adjustment than conventional door rails. Rails arrive completely fabricated with end caps installed; installers attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the pre-assembled adjustable door alignment slide. The Adjustable Door Alignment System provides ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb on both top and bottom rails without removing the door.

To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide, and the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out. The low-profile slide allows pivots with slotted grooves to be positioned away from the standard American setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
