Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, is a frameless glass door rail system engineered for secure, long-lasting attachment to monolithic tempered glass. The exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Pat. 6,434,905; U.S. Pat. 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Pat. 2,419,706; European Pat. EP 1 404 939 B1) applies angled wedge pressure from the bottom of the door rail using two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, the extrusions are pulled together inside an angled groove to create exceptional gripping force — more than 900 lbs. in the 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail — delivering heavy-duty retention across full-length rails up to 35-3/4" (908 mm).

The Wedge-Lock® system provides industry-leading installation speed for glass door rails. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. Rails come completely fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail installation, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide pre-assembled in the rail.

The adjustable door alignment slide allows ±1/8" (3 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door — standard on both top and bottom rails. To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts provide the ±1/8" adjustment. The low-profile slide permits pivot placement other than the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm) and supports fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
