Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4SSA34SL) features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This glass door rail system secures glass by applying downward wedge pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts—generating exceptional clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail) for long-lasting, high-security glass door installations.

The Wedge-Lock® system provides the fastest installation time among door rail systems—experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. Rails come completely fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps pre-installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail. The Adjustable Door Alignment System allows ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door; this is standard on both top and bottom rails.

To fine-tune alignment after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the adjustable slide, the two outer bolts adjust the slide ±1/8" (3.2 mm). The low-profile slide lets pivots with slotted grooves be positioned off the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
