An innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2, Canadian Patent 2,419,706, European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) to secure glass inside the door rail with exceptional clamping force. Two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar create a wedge action as socket head cap bolts are tightened, producing more than 900 lbs. of force in the 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail—approximately 100 lbs. per inch—resulting in a durable, long-lasting glass-to-rail connection for full-length rails as well.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers industry-leading installation speed. Experienced installers can prepare a door for hanging in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with End Caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the preassembled adjustable door alignment slide.

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System (top and bottom rails) allows ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. Remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts provide the 1/8" in/out adjustment. The low-profile slide lets pivots with slotted grooves be positioned off the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
