Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TSA38CL) uses the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System to clamp glass securely from the bottom of the rail. Two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions are compressed by a flat stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. The angled extrusions engage an internal wedge groove so the mechanism pulls the retainers together and, with a specially designed door retaining gasket, generates very high retention force in the corner and full-length rails. Ideal for secure tempered glass doors and storefront entrances.

Installation & use
Rails ship completely fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the assembled adjustable door alignment slide. To fine-tune after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide in or out by 1/8" (3.2 mm). The low-profile slide and slotted pivot grooves allow positioning other than the American Standard setback for vertically out-of-square openings.

Ordering notes
All Wedge-Lock® Door Rails include the built-in jamb alignment block; arms, pivots, closer arms, and floor or overhead pivots must be ordered separately. Models with locks ship with the lock mechanism installed; keyed cylinders or thumbturns ordered separately. Specify door rail length (including end caps) when ordering custom lengths.
