An innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR6SSA38CL) features CRL’s patented Wedge-Lock® Securing System — a high-force, wedge-action retention method that secures monolithic tempered glass using two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless-steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, the angled extrusions wedge together in the door rail, producing exceptional clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail) for reliable, long-lasting attachment.

Key differentiators: patented Wedge-Lock® technology for superior glass retention; faster installation than conventional door rails (experienced installers can prepare a door in under 10 minutes); rigid single-component housing that resists shift and long-term adjustment drift; internal components remain installed during fitting; glass pads engineered for longevity in extreme environments.

The rails arrive fully fabricated with end caps installed and include an adjustable door alignment slide that provides ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment without removing the door. After installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide and the two outer bolts provide in/out adjustment. Low-profile slides allow pivot placement other than the American Standard setback, enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.

Additional features and ordering notes:

• Models available to accept 3/8" or 1/2" (10 or 12 mm) glass.
• All Wedge-Lock® Door Rails include the built-in jamb alignment block; arms and pivots are ordered separately to meet site-specific requirements.
• All door rails are supplied with standard Kwik-Adjust™ Pivot Alignment System; closer arms and floor/overhead pivots must be ordered separately.
• Models with locks are supplied with the lock mechanism installed; keyed cylinders or thumbturns are ordered separately.
• End caps are included; specify door rail length (including end caps) for custom-length rails. Replacement end caps: search DREC6S.

NOTE: Arms, pivots, closer arms, keyed cylinders and thumbturns are not included and must be ordered separately to meet job requirements.
