Our innovative glass entrance system, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2, Canadian Patent 2,419,706, and European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This Wedge-Lock® door rail uses two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. As the bar is drawn down, angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail, pulling the extrusions together and compressing the specially designed retaining gasket to produce very high securing force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" / 228.6 mm corner rail). Imagine the holding power in full-length rails such as the 35-3/4" (908 mm) models.

The Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System delivers secure glass retention plus the fastest installation time of any door rail system in the industry. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship completely fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System allows 1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door—standard on both top and bottom rails. To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt locks the slide; the two outer bolts provide the 1/8" in/out adjustment. The low-profile slide and slotted pivot grooves allow positioning other than the American Standard setback of 2-3/4" (69.8 mm), accommodating vertically out-of-square openings.
