This aluminum extrusion (SKU: NH2SA240) was developed for three primary applications:

1. As a U-channel matching our sidelite and door rails—ideal as an aluminum U-channel for glass doors and sidelites.
2. As a narrow header that accepts a top free-swinging pivot to secure the top of doors—useful for storefront and interior glass door headers.
3. As part of an Even Sight Line System: secure the fabricated narrow header to the opening, then attach the sidelite rail to the narrow header with the 1/4" (6 mm) header saddle for consistent sight lines across door and sidelite assemblies.

All drilling, tapping, and fabrication can be completed at manufacture to reduce installation time. This narrow header and U-channel system supports quick installation workflows and fewer on-site modifications.
