Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, is a patented (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) door rail engineered for secure, high-performance glass doors. The Wedge-Lock® Securing System clamps the glass using two retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, the angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail, generating exceptional clamping force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" / 228.6 mm corner rail). This robust design delivers superior glass retention for commercial tempered glass entrances and frameless glass doors.
