Our innovative glass entrance system, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2, Canadian Patent 2,419,706, and European Patent No. EP 1 404 939 B1). This patented Wedge-Lock® design secures monolithic tempered glass using two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar that pulls down with socket head cap bolts. The angled extrusions seat into the rail’s angled groove so the wedge action compresses the extrusions together against the door-retaining gasket, generating very high holding force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" / 228.6 mm corner rail). The Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System provides a secure, durable attachment and the fastest installation time of any door rail system in the industry—experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship completely fabricated and ready-to-install with End Caps installed. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail. The Adjustable Door Alignment System allows ±1/8" (±3 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door; this feature is standard on both top and bottom rails.

To adjust after installation, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the outer two bolts adjust the slide ±1/8" (3 mm). The low-profile adjustable slide lets pivots with slotted grooves be positioned other than the American Standard setback of 2-3/4" (69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
