Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR10SSB34CL) features the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2, Canadian Patent 2,419,706, European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for commercial and architectural glass doors, this door rail system secures monolithic tempered glass by applying precise wedge pressure from the bottom of the rail using dual aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled wedges draw the extrusions together and compress the gasket to generate very high retention force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" / 228.6 mm corner rail), delivering exceptional glass holding strength for full-length rails up to 35-3/4" (908 mm).

The Wedge-Lock® system also provides industry-leading installation speed for glass door rails. Experienced installers can prepare a door for hanging in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® door rails ship fabricated and ready to install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the preassembled adjustable door alignment slide.

The Adjustable Door Alignment System lets you fine-tune the door 1/8" (3 mm) toward or away from the jamb without removing the door; this feature is standard on both top and bottom rails. To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts — the center bolt secures the slide, the outer two provide the 1/8" (3 mm) in/out adjustment. The low-profile slide accommodates pivots with slotted grooves and can be fabricated for vertically out-of-square openings.
