Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TSB34CL), features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This patented glass securing system is engineered for tempered, monolithic glass and provides a fast, secure attachment ideal for commercial glass door installations and storefronts.

The Wedge-Lock® system secures glass by applying downward pressure via two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is drawn down with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage an internal wedge groove in the rail, pulling the extrusions together and compressing the door-retaining gasket. That design produces exceptional holding force—more than 900 lbs. in our 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail—delivering reliable performance for heavy-use doors and high-traffic commercial entrances.

Beyond strong retention, Wedge-Lock® Door Rails offer the fastest installation time of any comparable door rail system. Experienced installers can prepare a door for install in under ten minutes. Rails arrive completely fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the pre-assembled adjustable door alignment slide.

The built-in Adjustable Door Alignment System provides 1/8" (3.2 mm) in/out adjustment on both top and bottom rails without removing the door—useful for vertically out-of-square openings. To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts provide the 1/8" adjustment range. The low-profile slide accommodates pivots with slotted grooves and non-standard setback positions.
