An innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR6SSB34CL) uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) to clamp and secure monolithic tempered glass from the bottom of the rail. Two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions are drawn together by a flat stainless steel bar and socket head cap bolts; the angled extrusions seat into the rail’s wedge groove to create exceptional holding force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" / 228.6 mm corner rail). This design delivers reliable heavy-duty glass retention in full-length door rails for commercial tempered glass doors.

The Wedge-Lock® system reduces installation time—experienced installers can prepare a door for hanging in under ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail installation, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The Adjustable Door Alignment System provides ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door—standard on both top and bottom rails. To access adjustments, remove the end cap to reveal three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide in or out. The low-profile slide lets pivots be positioned other than the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.

NOTE: All Wedge-Lock® door rails include a built-in jamb alignment block. Arms, pivots, closer arms, and floor or overhead pivots must be ordered separately to meet job requirements.
