Our CRL Low Profile Door Rail is a compact, ready-to-install door rail (2-5/16" / 59 mm H × 1-1/2" / 38 mm W) engineered for storefronts and commercial glass doors. It incorporates the patented Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1), delivering a secure hold for monolithic tempered glass and some laminated applications while offering the fastest installation time in its class. Rails ship complete with end caps, installation instructions, and adjustment wrenches.

The Wedge-Lock® system reduces install time—experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes—and requires no internal component removal before installation. After installation you only attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the pre-assembled adjustable door alignment slide. The adjustable alignment system (top and bottom rails standard) provides ±1/8" (±3 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door, and the low-profile slide permits pivot placement other than the American Standard setback for out-of-square openings.

To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts allow the ±1/8" (3 mm) fine adjustment. Internal glass pads are designed for longevity in extreme environments, and the one-piece rigid housing resists shift or loss of adjustment over time.
