Our innovative glass entrance system, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This patented, single-component door rail secures glass by applying downward pressure with two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is pulled down with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage the rail wedge, producing exceptionally high clamping force (more than 900 lbs. in our 9" / 228.6 mm corner rail) — delivering a robust, long-lasting glass attachment for commercial glass doors and storefront door rails.

The Wedge-Lock® system not only provides a secure attachment but also the fastest installation time of any door rail system offered to the industry. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship completely fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps pre-installed. After installing the rail, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The built-in Adjustable Door Alignment System allows ±1/8" (3 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without door removal — standard on both top and bottom rails. To make post-install adjustments, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide and the two outer bolts provide the ±1/8" adjustment. The low-profile adjustable slide lets pivots with slotted grooves be positioned off the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
